Clinical Supervison for Social Work Interns

Embarking on the next step of your professional journey is both exciting and meaningful. Choosing a qualified supervisor is more than just meeting a requirement—it’s about finding someone who will walk alongside you, nurture your growth, and help you discover your own voice as a clinician.

I’ve had the opportunity to learn under the guidance of different supervisors, each of whom left me with lessons that continue to shape the way I mentor today. From them, I carry forward the values of curiosity, compassion, and encouragement—qualities I now bring to those I have the privilege of supervising.

I believe that every emerging social worker deserves guidance that is not only knowledgeable but also supportive and affordable. Fees: each intern

• Individual (can be up to 2): $40
• Group (3 or more): $30

Additional information: 

According to the Florida Board, the supervision experience must have consisted of:

• At least 100 hours of supervision in no less than 100 weeks
• 1,500 hours of face-to-face psychotherapy with clients
• One hour of supervision every two weeks.
