Welcome! My name is Tanya Carrillo and I am a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern. I obtained my master’s degree in social work from the University of South Florida. I have experience working with various age groups including children, adolescents, families, perinatal and postpartum women, and the geriatric population.
I work with my clients to navigate through life’s toughest situations and cope with mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, behavioral concerns in children, and postpartum depression. I also have a special interest working with individuals who are facing mental health concerns due to immigration challenges.
My goal is to work with my clients in an environment that promotes positive change, support, empowerment, safety and collaboration.
Using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered, Solution Focused and Mindfulness, I strive to empower my client’s to promote meaningful change in their lives.
